Q: How long do orders take to ship?
A: At the Chiapas Coffee Co, we pride ourselves on providing the freshest coffee available online. Our roast-to-order process ensures that your coffee is hand-packed and shipped the same day it is roasted on whole bean coffee, or the day after on ground coffee. Due to this process, please allow 1-5 business days for our roasters to prepare your order for shipment. Once shipped, your order will be delivered within 1-5 business days via standard ground shipping by USPS. You will receive tracking information for your order to stay updated on its delivery status.

A: Whether its whole bean or ground, our products consist of 100% coffee. None of our products have any added or artificial ingredients, and all of our products are gluten free.
Q: Should I buy whole bean or ground coffee?
A: To achieve the best flavor, we suggest using coffee beans and grinding them just before brewing. As soon as coffee beans are ground, their flavor and aroma begin to diminish. For optimal freshness and taste, we recommend using your ground coffee within two weeks of opening.
Q: What are coffee beans?
A: Coffee beans are not actually beans, but instead seeds of berries. There are usually two seeds or beans per cherry.
Q: How much caffeine is in a cup of coffee?
A: An 8 oz serving of brewed coffee will have between 100 and 150 milligrams of caffeine, depending on the brewing method and the variety of coffee used.
Q: How long does our coffee last?
A: Our coffee, if stored properly, can last for months and even years. On average between 3-9 months in the pantry and 2-3 years in the freezer.
